i don’t just market brands

- I understand them from inside out.

Most marketers study consumers from a distance. I’ve spent 13+ years building relationships with them face to face. As a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner, I learned what makes people trust a brand, come back, and tell their friends.

Now I bring that to real-world consumer insight to every campaign I create. With a B.S. in Marketing from Rutgers Business School and hands-on experience in brand identity design, email marketing, social media strategy, and print design, I deliver marketing that connects—— because I’ve been on both sides of the conversation.

Strategy meets execution

I Conducted an interview diving into Founder and Director Parisse Dawkins’ inspiration for launching the Heart of the City festival in her hometown, aiming to create a platform for local artists. Sharing her journey and the passion that fuels Heart of the City’s mission to celebrate Black and Brown culture, unity, and community.

Heart of the City Festival — 

full campaign Ownership

As social Media Manager and Coordinator for HOTC in 2023 and 2024, I owned the entire digital presence. Created performer announcement graphics, animated social reels, attendee story posts with quotes, event carousels, and conducted the founder interview video series—— all using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut and Canva.

Popcorn for the People —

Influencer Campaign That drove 75% Growth

Managed influencer outreach for this mission driven nonprofit employing autistic adults. Packaged and shipped influencer kits, coordinated with micro-influencers like @stayathomejackie and @autismmomma_ to create authentic product reviews.

Other work at Popcorn for the People, includes designing event marketing collateral and email marketing campaign assets, for the Superbowl and seasonal campaigns.
